The jet black blade of this fearsome axe is alive with flickering, silhouetted flames that dance across its engraved surface. Set into the thick, wooden haft of this magnificent weapon are six large rubies. Each gem emits a faint glow. Long and storied are the histories attached to the various weapons and pieces of armour that comprise the 'Shadowfire Collection'. While these grand, but strange items had their origins in a desolate realm deep within the Neverness, it is believed that they received additional enchantments from the hand of a powerful shadowmage.
