The purpose of this page is to mirror the announcements the GM puts out in the News & Announcements section of the main Sryth page, to provide an historical view about Sryth's development and avoid losing information about updates.

If you add an update to this page, please make sure you also post in on the appropriate forum section, and conversely. There is a dedicated page and forum thread for each year's updates. See the Game Updates page for a condensed history of Sryth development.

Posting guidelines
  • The updates will be posted as soon as they appear in the main page, in chronological order from top to bottom.
  • You must keep the GM's original wording (although fixing typos is allowed). Add links to the game's reference system using {{Reference}}. It is desirable to add links to the appropriate wiki pages/forum threads about the game sections/mechanics/locations/quests being discussed.
  • Do not add player comments to the GM's announcements. You can, however, post a summary of the update and historical details (like dates of availability for limited time events, delays on the release of the announced adventure, or its effects in the gameplay) on the Development History section of the main Game Updates page.
Formatting guidelines
  • Months will be added as Level 2 Headings (<h2> or ==)
  • Updates will be added as Level 3 Headings (<h3> or ===). When there is more than one update in an announcement, each one will also be added as a Level 3 Heading.
  • Each batch of updates will start with a Level 3 Heading stating the date of the updates in mm/dd/yy format and its status (official or unofficial) - For example 01/04/09 - Game Updates
  • Each batch of updates (several updates on the same announcement) must be separated from the rest by a horizontal rule. (<hr/> or ----)

These updates are meant for players that are more or less "current" with the circumstances of the game and the latest developments. As a consequence, some passages can be highly spoilerish and can't be edited, since these are the original GM's announcements. You've been warned.

A description of the Tome, including an overview of how it will function, will be made available in the next couple of days.

Unofficial Update Edit

New content in Hawklor. It looks as if going by coach to Hawklor won't access it. You have to "travel" to the city to trigger it.

1/19/10 - Game Updates Edit

The Tome of Attainment Edit

The Tome of Attainment, a grand artifact with a value well beyond estimation, is an ancient book long believed to be the product of dark goblin magic.

The Tome is divided into chapters and each chaper is made up of one or more separate parts.

As adventurers progress through their adventures, their accomplishments (and different combinations of their various accomplishments) will unlock chapters within the Tome.

An adventurer in possession of the Tome of Attainment may (from any SAFE location) press his or her hand onto the pages of an unlocked chapter and be instantly transported into the tale.

Completing each of the invdividual stages of a chapter will earn adventurers a reward. Completing a chapter in its entirety will earn another reward. Completing a chapter stage and/or an entire chapter can also unlock new chapters within the Tome.

Adventurers do not need to be in possession of the Tome at the time they complete the adventures/events that will unlock its chapters. The Tome knows what you've done—for better or worse. Upon acquisition, it will unlock all appropriate chapters for that adventurer, based upon what he or she has accomplished to that point.

There will be a limit to the number of chapter parts that can be completed on a single calendar day—such is the nature of the mysterious and powerful Tome.

More details soon!

Game Updates Edit

My humble apologies to all for the delay with recent releases, including the latest scenario in the Alder Throne Proving Grounds adventure.

A particularly nasty bout with with the flu (or was it stoneskin fever?) has sidelined your humble and normally-robust gamemaster for nearly a week.

The next scenario in the current Proving Grounds adventure (The Alder Throne) is expected to go live in the next few days. Following its release will be the launch of the Tome of Attainment.

Thanks to all of Sryth's brave adventurers for your patience!

The Winteriron Armour Edit

Five identical grand helms, crafted out of solid winteriron, will be given away as prizes to five lucky adventurers on Sunday, February 21, 2010.

This special prize drawing is open to Adventurers Guild members. There's no cost to enter!

To enter into the drawing, an adventurer must sign in and save his or her game at least once between now (2/13) and next Saturday (2/20).

Details of the winteriron armour will be posted soon!

2/16/10 - Game Updates Edit

The Winteriron Armour - Update Edit

In response to questions posed by some inquisitive and highly-observant adventurers, here are some clarifications regarding the Winteriron Armour drawing that is to be held on Sunday, February 21, 2010...

  • A total of 5 grand helms, crafted out of solid winteriron will be given away as prizes to five adventurers whose names are drawn at random.
  • To enter into the drawing, an adventurer need only sign in and save his or her game once during the period of February 13th through February 20th.
  • An individual character can only have his or her name drawn once, though it is possible for more than one character from the same account to win a prize.
  • Characters will have through Sunday, February 28th to claim their prize. Prizes unclaimed after that date will be awarded, at random, to another entrant.

Good luck to all of Sryth's brave adventurers!

The Proving Grounds Continues... Edit

The next scenario in the current Proving Grounds adventure (The Alder Throne) is expected to be available on Thursday (2/18).

This scenario is one of the final parts of The (The Alder Throne) and will prove to be one of the most challenging.

The adventure that began on the distant shores of Saarngard Isle is now swiftly drawing toward its conclusion...

2/18/10 - Game Updates Edit

The Winteriron Helms Edit

The attributes of the grand Winteriron Helms—to be given away to five lucky adventurers on Sunday, February 21—are revealed!

The helms bear powerful enchantments that will provide the following bonuses to any adventurer fortunate enough to find one on his or her head:

The following requirements must be met before an adventurer will be able to don one of these grand helms:

Remember, Adventurers Guild may enter their characters into the drawing for one of these magnificent helms by simply saving that character's game at least once between February 13 and February 20.

Good luck to all of Sryth's brave adventurers!

The Proving Grounds - Update Edit

The newest scenario in the current Proving Grounds adventure (The Alder Throne) will be available on Friday, (2/19), one day later than previously announced. Additional testing is required before the scenario can go live.

2/21/10 - Game Update Edit

The Winteriron Helm Winners Edit

Congratulations to the five lucky winners of the rare and magnificent Winteriron Helms! Only a short while ago, the names of five adventurers were drawn at random from a large pool of participants.

The five winners—who may now claim their prize by visiting the "windowless building with a blue door" in Hawklor, Talinus, or Trithik -- are...

  • King Arthur from the roster of kurtis.
  • Kulang from the roster of arnon.
  • Draco from the roster of shadowhntr12.
  • Karidan from the roster of hinton.
  • Coles from the roster of azabat.

Please note that as is the policy with all possessions in the game, items cannot be transferred/awarded to any other character.

Congratulations again to the five winners and thanks to everyone who participated!

3/01/10 - Game Updates Edit

The Proving Grounds Continues Edit

The latest scenario in the current Proving Grounds adventure (The Alder Throne) is expected to be available later this week.

The adventure is now rapidly drawing to a close, and the time will soon be at hand when adventurers will learn what effect their 'meddling' has had...

The Tome of Attainment Edit

The Tome of Attainment is beginning its final testing and it is expected that the grand artifact will soon be available for release. Special thanks to all of Sryth's illustrious adventurers for your patience!

The Tome is grand artifact that will usher in a large, new, and ever-expanding chapter (bad pun intended) of adventures.

I will refrain from announcing a firm release date as the Tome (which seems to have its own designs) is quite adept at missing them!

The Tome is on its way and Tallys promises that any adventurer fortunate enough to lay his or her hands upon one will not be disappointed...

3/02/10 - Game Update Edit

Battle Markers Edit

Adventurers bold enough to stand toe to toe (or in most cases toe to claw) with some of Sryth's most fearsome denizens (the multiplayer combat scenarios), now have a chance to earn Battle Markers. These small squares of ravenbone are a rare and valuable form of currency that will be usable for certain special game events.

A series of special raffles are planned in which Battle Markers will be the only accepted currency.

Currently, adventurers have the opportunity to acquire Battle Markers by participating in any of the four multiplayer combat scenarios:

Adventurers will discover if they've acquired one or more Battle Markers for participating in a multiplayer combat when they collect their Experience reward for the scenario at the "windowless building with a blue door".

How, why, and when Battle Markers are awarded is, and will likely remain, a mystery.

3/10/10 - Game Updates Edit

The Proving Grounds Continues Edit

One of the final few scenarios in the current Proving Grounds adventure (The Alder Throne) is expected to be available on Friday (3/12). This challenging episode moves the chain of events that began at the Five Knots Inn in Mirgspil one step closer to its conclusion.

Be prepared!

Battle Markers Update Edit

It's now possible to acquire Battle Markers in three of the special replayable adventure scenarios:

Battle Markers can also be obtained by participating in the special multiplayer combat scenarios:

It is rumoured that the first of several special raffles in which Battle Markers will be the only accepted currency will feature a collection of powerful and unique enchanted elixirs—prepared by the master arcanist and elementalist, Tarlaro.

It is believed that these elixirs will produce permanent and beneficial effects on any adventurer fortunate enough to consume one of them.

It must be remembered that how, why, and when Battle Markers are awarded is, and will likely remain, a mystery.

3/12/10 - Game Updates Edit

This is a great opportunity for those brave adventures who choose to risk life and limb standing against the mighty villains of these special scenarios to earn DOUBLE Battle Marker rewards in honour of their valour.

Don't forget that a special raffle featuring several powerful elixirs (which provide permanent, beneficial effects) is set to begin toward the end of the month. The only accepted currency for this raffle will be Battle Markers!

3/24/10 - Game Updates Edit

Beginning on Saturday, March 27, adventurers in possession of one or more Battle Markers may use the rare and valuable currency to enter a special raffle for some powerful magical elixirs.

Raffle winners will be able to select the prize of their choice from a wide array of elixirs.

The Proving Grounds Continues Edit

The next scenario in the current Proving Grounds adventure (The Alder Throne) is expected to be available in the next few days.

Collect and save those Battle Markers!

Urumyr comes and goes, often without warning, so don't delay!

3/26/10 - Game Update Edit

Double Battle Marker Rewards Edit

Beginning this morning (3/26), with the next appearance of Xarakk in the Ruins of Tarramyre, and continuing through Sunday (3/28), Battle Marker rewards for the special multiplayer combat scenarios will be DOUBLED.

This is a great opportunity for Sryth's brave adventures who bravely engage the fearsome villains of the special multiplayer scenarios to earn DOUBLE Battle Marker rewards in honour of their valour.

The raffle featuring Tarlaro's incredible elixirs, which starts tomorrow (3/27), will be the first raffle in which Battle Markers (and only Battle Markers!) are the accepted currency.

AprilEdit

4/01/10 - Game UpdateEdit

Important AnnouncementEdit

Reports have been coming in about adventurers experiencing various difficulties in the Battlegrounds on Iron Crown Isle.

Some adventurers have reported items disappearing and stats suddenly dropping to extremely low values.

These reports began earlier today, April 1st.

It is advised that all adventurers stay away from the Battlegrounds until the issue has been identified and dealt with.

4/03/10 - Game UpdateEdit

Important Announcement, Part 2Edit

Having determined that the reports from adventurers concerning the various "difficulties" experienced in the Battlegrounds were only part of an elaborate, though well-intentioned hoax, here is a followup announcement.

Members of the Adventurers Guild are hereby encouraged to pay a visit to the Battlegrounds on Iron Crown Isle through Tuesday, April 6, to help Zumryn with a small, but rewarding task.

This special event will disappear forever after April 6—don't miss out!

Those adventurers responsible for the April 1st hoax have been added to 'The List'...

4/04/10 - Game Update Edit

The Proving Grounds Continues... Edit

The latest Proving Grounds adventure (The Alder Throne) continues...toward its conclusion.

It's expected that that penultimate Proving Grounds scenario for the Alder Throne will be available on Friday, April 9.

On the brink of defeat, its unspoken desires hopelessly crumbling into ruin, a powerful, unseen enemy will at last reveal itself in a final, desperate bid to regain its crushing hold on reality—and to deal a decisive blow to the one force that has thus far thwarted its long-foretold ascension—you.

Adventurers bold enough to embark on this next-to-the-last chapter of the Alder Throne are hereby encouraged to be prepared...

4/05/10 - Game Update Edit

Tarlaro's Raffle Edit

The drawing for Tarlaro's raffle will take place this evening (4/5). Winners will be posted and prizes will be available for selection immediately following the drawing.

Thanks to all the adventurers who participated in the raffle and good luck!

4/05/10 - Game Update Edit

Tarlaro's Raffle - Update Edit

The seven winning entries in Tarlaro's raffle have been drawn! To see if you're one of the lucky seven, and to view the list of winners, please pay a visit to Tarlaro in Durnsig. Thanks to all the adventurers who participated in the raffle and congratulations to the winners! More opportunities to make use of the rare and valuable Battle Markers are on the way.

4/06/10 - Game Update Edit

Tarlaro's Elixirs Edit

Starting later today (4/6), Tarlaro, the silver-haired master arcansist/elementalist from Durnsig, will be making available for purchase a batch of her magical elixirs.

These magnificent potions provide permanent attribute boosts and some even bestow the potential for Battle Rage.

It should be noted that a maximum of 1 of Tarlaro's special elixirs can be consumed in any 60 day period and that the same elixir cannot be purchased/consumed more than once by the same adventurer.

These limits are related to the somewhat volatile nature of the magic contained in the elixir—a matter well beyond the feeble knowledge of arcanum possessed by your humble gamemaster.

Tarlaro's special elixirs won't last long! Once her current stock has been depleted it may be some time before she is able to replenish it. Don't miss out!

Tarlaro can be found in the village of Durnsig in the Hart Hills region of Southwest Tysa.

4/07/10 - Unofficial Update Edit

Unofficial Update - 4/07/10 Edit

Talaro's Elixirs now available for purchase for a limited time only.

Tarlaro tells you that she currently has a few elixirs for sale, though what remains of her stock is being swiftly depleted by eager adventurers.

She says that she believes the batch of elixirs she has on hand will last no longer than 4 more days.

Tarlaro politely reminds you that due to the demand for her magical mixtures, adventurers are limited to acquiring a maximum of one elixir every 60 days.

4/09/10 - Game Updates Edit

The Latest Updates Edit

The Proving Grounds Edit

The next-to-last scenario in the current Proving Grounds adventure (The Alder Throne) will go live tomorrow, Saturday (4/10), one day later than was originally expected as additional testing is required.

A word of warning regarding this scenario...

This scenario may prove to be the last stand of a desperate and vicious foe. Adventurers can expect no mercy...be prepared!

Tarlaro's Elixirs Edit

Tarlaro's first batch of elixirs is beginning to run low! Don't miss your chance to acquire one of her magical potions before they're all gone!

There's no telling how long it will take the arcanist to prepare another batch.

Visit Tarlaro in Durnsig to view the elixirs she currently has for sale.

Special thanks to all the adventurers who provided such timely and thoughtful feedback on the elixirs. Your input and suggestions are very much appreciated!

4/17/10 - Game Updates Edit

The Streets of Trithik Edit

Adventurers should remain watchful for the appearance of a strange character somewhere on the streets of Trithik -- starting tomorrow, 4/18.

The Proving Grounds Concludes... Edit

The final official scenario in the current Proving Grounds adventure (The Alder Throne) is expected to be available in the next several days.

This last scenario will set the stage for a series of followup adventures that will result in a "return" to Saarngard Isle -- for the first time.

Final rewards will be made available at the conclusion of this next (and last) scenario.

Battle Markers Edit

Collect and save those Battle Markers!

A new raffle is on its way and once again, Battle Markers will be the only currency adventurers can use to purchase entries. This time, however, the raffle prizes are something a bit different than Tarlaro's potent and beneficial elixirs...

A magnificent collection of savage, magical weaponry will be up for grabs.

The unnamed "source" of these grand weapons is rumoured to be none other than Tallys, though the retired master adventurer denies having any ties to the affair.

On the subject of Battle Markers, many adventurers have provided feedback on additional scenarios/locations in which they'd like to see the rare currency offered as rewards. Your feedback is much appreciated and please know that Battle Markers will soon be available in several new spots.

More details soon!

4/24/10 - Game Updates Edit

The raffle will take place in Blade Square in Trithik, under the supervision of one of Tallys's well-known associates, though the retired master adventurer continues to deny any direct involvement in the event.

Please note that Battle Markers will be the only form of currency accepted for this raffle.

6/03/10 - Game Updates Edit

The Painted PeddlerEdit

Long a fixture in the North Broadlands (well, a constantly moving sort of fixture), the curious merchant known as the Painted Peddler has recently been sighted roaming the Kingdom.

Rumours have begun circulating that the peddler has come into possession of a very powerful item -- an item enchanted long ago by the master mage, Varkyn.

6/12/10 - Unofficial updates Edit

Old North Wood has been updated and now uses the new exploration system.

6/12/10 - Game Updates Edit

Ulgror is Coming... Edit

An all-new challenging and rewarding multiplayer combat scenario is on its way. The battle against Ulgror is set to begin in 3 days (6/15).

The mighty, immortal guardian spirit of Tar Lake doesn't take kindly to adventurers poking around its ancient abode...and the fearsome tar beast is about to make that point abundantly clear.

It should be noted that adventurers in possession of Varkyn's Ring of Motley Wonder will begin to discover that the events and places in and around Tar Lake are, in many ways, connected to the great 'Trickster' Mage.

Varkyn's Ring of Motley Wonder Edit

Adventurers seeking to lay their hands upon one of greatest treasures to be found anywhere, should pay a visit to the Painted Peddler as he wanders across the realm in his glowing wagon—a wagon drawn by invisible horses.

The Ring of Motley Wonder is a grand, enchanted ring, of almost unparalleled might. Its greatest powers are said to also be its least obvious.

You can now discover the Painted Peddler's current location by using the Adventure Finder.

6/29/10 - Game Updates Edit

The City of Phak-Rur Edit

Look for the city of Phak-Rur to become available as a destination for adventurers in the next few days.

The heavily-fortified Tysian seaport, long ago built over the ruins of an ancient city (of which little is known), promises both adventure and reward to those bold enough to explore its narrow lanes and twisting alleys.

Take care where you wander, though, for Tysa's oldest city has long been one its most dangerous...

JulyEdit

7/09/10 - Game Updates Edit

A Word on Recent Updates Edit

As your humble GM, I apologize for the delay with some of the recently-announced updates (The City of Phak-Rur and the Return to Saarngaard Isle).

Both are still on their way and Phak-Rur will be the first to go live, sometime over the next several days.

Almost two weeks ago, I began to experience a severe reaction to a tick bite I had received the week prior. I'm now finally on the mend and back at preparing the new adventures and content for play.

If you aren't familiar with ticks or tick bites, I can only say that I hope you never need to be!

Some quick notes on Phak-Rur...

Phak-Rur is Tysa's oldest (and one of its most dangerous) cities. The encounters and adventures that can be found within its ancient walls will help to tie together some longstanding loose ends that have plagued adventurers.

Again, sorry for the recent delays and thanks as always for playing and supporting Sryth!

7/16/10 - Game Updates Edit

The City of Phak-Rur - Update Edit

The ancient seaport of Phak-Rur, the northernmost city in all of Tysa, will go live and be available to adventurers starting on Monday evening (7/19).

The encounters and adventures that can be found within wall of the heavily-fortified port will help to begin to tie together some longstanding loose ends that have plagued adventurers

7/24/10 - Game Updates Edit

The City of Phak-Rur Edit

Phak-Rur, a thriving, but dangerous seaport, is now live and is testing the mettle of some of the most hardened adventurers.

Be sure to pay a visit to the ancient city (located in the northeastern region of Tysa), but take care while you're there—there's no telling what you might find.

Zumryn's Battlegrounds Edit

Zumryn, the reclusive master adventurer whose famous Battlegrounds on Iron Crown Isle attract the brave and the bold from all corners of the realm, will begin to reset the leaderboards for his various challenges at the start of every month.

Leaderboards will be archived before they are reset and will remain available for viewing.

When questioned about this change, the Master of the Battlegrounds mumbled something about 'ogres' and then stomped off.

AugustEdit

8/04/10 - Game Updates Edit

A Raffle in Blade Square Edit

Several grand items (both armour and weapons) will be offered as the prizes in a special raffle to begin on Friday, August 6 and run through Sunday, August 15.

This raffle will feature some truly magnificent items from one of Tallys's most prized collections -- the Bloodrune Collection.

The raffle will take place in Blade Square in Trithik, under the supervision of one of Tallys's well-known associates, though the retired master adventurer has vehemently denied any direct involvement in the event.

Please note that Battle Markers will be the only form of currency accepted for this raffle. Hold on to any you may find!

The issue has been fixed and all adventurers should now be able to find the circle of stones.

The circle of stones is a common encounter in the wood so it should take only a few explorations to discover it.

Once 'The Oakenking' scenario has been put live and sufficiently tested, the current array of multiplayer combats will be transitioned to the new system.

The Latest News Edit

Pumpkin Growing Contest Winners Edit

A belated, though much-deserved congratulations to the top finishers in the recent Halloween Pumpkin Growing Contest held at Zumryn's Battlegrounds on Iron Crown Isle.

For having grown the largest pumpkin, which weighed 2,534 pounds (a frightening fruit to say the very least), the renowned adventurer Grite earned the top prize of 36 Adventurer Tokens. Well done, Grite!

Contest participants were surprised (and some were slightly dismayed) when it was revealed that Zumryn would be keeping all of the pumpkins grown for the event. This development has led to widespread speculation regarding his intended use of the pumpkins.

A Dungeon...Deep and Deadly... Edit

Sometime over the next several days, adventurers familiar with the vast, mist-shrouded woodland of Fogbough will be able to discover one of the cursed forest's most legendary (and infamous) locations—the long-hidden labyrinth of Rhaknar.

The Oakenking Edit

Once ready, a new and improved multiplayer combat system will make its debut in a scenario involving the 'Oakenking' in Dragonmere Deep.

This scenario will also feature an explorable area (Dragonmere Deep) as well as a special adventure related to the Oakenking.

More details soon!

11/13/10 - Game Updates Edit

Rhaknar's 'Mad'Edit

For over a thousand years, the mythical labyrinth of Rhaknar (known as Rhaknar's 'Mad'), has laid hidden, concealed by the infamous sorcerer's powerful magic, in the cursed, mist-shrouded depths of Fogbough Forest.

No living adventurer has ever set foot in the ancient, peril-filled maze...until now.

A mission of grave importance will soon lead you, the greatest adventurer of the new age, into the deep, sprawling dungeon lair that is Rhaknar's 'Mad'. Many levels deep, and teeming with unimaginable danger, the deadly labyrinth guards a sinister secret.

Look for the adventure titled "Rhaknar's 'Mad'" in the Griffon's Ledge Alehouse in Trithik, starting on Friday (11/19).

This grand adventure, designed to provide adventurers of all ability levels with an ongoing and ever-increasing challenge, is available exclusively to Adventurers Guild members.

The Latest Updates Edit

Adventurer Appreciation Month Continuation Edit

For those adventurers who started, but were unable to complete the September 2010 Adventurer Appreciation Month scenarios, they will once again be available for completion starting on Wednesday, December 1.

Adventurers who have already started the scenarios will have through December 31 to complete them. After December 31 the scenarios will no longer be available.

Rhaknar's 'Mad' Edit

Sryth's bravest adventurers have already delved deep into the ancient, peril-filled labyrinth that is Rhaknar's 'Mad'.

If the legends are true, grave danger and great rewards await those bold enough (and clever enough) to find their way down through the mythical maze's countless, uncharted levels.

Rhaknar's 'Mad', designed to provide adventurers of all ability levels with an ongoing and ever-increasing challenge, is available exclusively to Adventurers Guild members.

DecemberEdit

12/4/10 - Game Update Edit

'Tis the Season! Edit

Through the month of December, Tallys is offering some unique and amazing winter/holiday-themed items at his trading post. Stop by his famous shop (located near Trithik in Western Tysa) and peruse his latest (and jolliest) additions.

Tallys will be adding new items to this special winter collection throughout the month.

12/8/10 - Game Update Edit

Rhaknar's 'Mad' - Level 20 Edit

Sryth's adventurers are an amazing lot! In just a few short days, the bravest and boldest of Sryth's adventuring elite have gone from making their first intrepid descent into the fabled labyrinth to arriving upon the threshold of the maze's twentieth level.

As many of these master adventurers have begun to speculate, however, greater challenges and discoveries yet lie ahead, in the dark, fathomless depths of the sinister labyrinth.

Level 20 of Rhaknar's 'Mad' will be available for play starting just after midnight on Saturday, December 11.

It should be noted that many of the ancient legends surrounding the labyrinth speak of "a maze, twenty levels deep".

It should also be noted, of course, that adventurers know a good deal better than to pay heed to every ancient legend they happen to run across!

12/13/10 - Game Updates Edit

Rhaknar's 'Mad' - Level 21 & Beyond... Edit

Adventurers who've completed the first twenty levels of Rhaknar's 'Mad' will soon be able to delve deeper into the ancient labyrinth. Levels 21 and beyond are currently being prepared for play and are expected to become available sometime over the next several days.

The Palobread Men are Coming! Edit

More details soon...

The Great Palobread Man Roundup Edit

The Palobread Men are coming!

A special Christmas/Yuletide event will kick off just after midnight on December 25. It seems that Zumryn, the illustrious master of the Battlegrounds on Iron Crown Isle, has his hands full with a particularly-strange problem.

This special, limited-time event, available to all adventurers, will only be around for a short while, before it disappears.

Look for 'The Great Palobread Man Roundup' in the Battlegrounds on Iron Crown Isle just after midnight on December 25.
